We just returned from a 5 week working vacation in Costa Rica and finished our vacation with 2 nights in one of the bungalows at The Harmony Hotel.
We came to the hotel a few weeks earlier on a weekend drive up the coast, and were so impressed and enchanted with the grounds, the rooms, the beach and the exotic menu that we decided to splurge and return.
Upon our return, there were only the pricier bungalows left, and after a quick walk through town, nothing compared and we stayed 2 nights.
We have only been married for 9 months, and this felt like a second honeymoon for us! The outdoor shower was the favorite memory of the whole trip...I think in 2 days we took over 4 showers, all of them outdoors and 2 in the pouring rain! The bath products provided were absolutely yummy and the towels and linens exquisite.
We decided after a long walk in the rain and a sunset on the beach that we would definately return to Costa Rica again, and another longer stay at the Harmony Hotel is not even a question, it is a definate confirmation.
Your staff at the desk and in the restaurant, the housekeepers and the gentleman that brings fresh towels at 9pm were all so friendly, and welcoming.
Thank you all very much for a romantic, and purely pura vida experience!
