Corsicana Farm has an organic pineapple plantation founded in 1991, property of Collin Street Bakery’s. We are located near the small and traditional town of La Virgen of Sarapiqui. The trip takes 2 hours from San Jose, crossing the Braulio Carrillo National Park. The plantation has an ideal location because of its rich soil with abundant minerals and apt for this type of cultivation. Due to the increasing interest of Ecotourism in Costa Rica in 2005, and the great demand in Finca Corsicana of people wanting to learn more about the cultivation of this delicious fruit, they built the tourist instalations and the Pineapple Tour was created. Corsicana Farm now has a very nice restaurant, with a capacity for 100 people, offering an exquisite Costa Rican Cuisine, also bathrooms and a Souvenir Shop with a wide variety of art crafts.
