Turismo Auténtico is a small Costa Rican travel agency focused on community-based and rural tourism. We represent more than 50 groups arranged into associations and Costa Rican families that offer authentic and sustainable tourist products. Though our offer is very alternative we care to give the visitors an enriching and satisfying experience during their trip. To do so, each one of the initiatives that we represent have been trained by our company in order to ensure the quality of the services provided, without losing their identity. Being a small agency, we have the advantage of getting more involved in all the processes of the trips, lowing the chance for mistakes and joining the visitor at any time (through the distance). Our policy is to be totally transparent, not only with our providers but also with our clients. We don’t look for high intermediary commissions or excessive profits. We don’t have secrets. We do prefer to care about facilitating you this wonderful product that we have in Costa Rica, so that we can contribute in an equivalent tourist development.
