I left the retreat I was at (Che Tica) because I thought I'd save some money. I called and asked Ruben to come and get me and take me "home" after one hour at a B&B. The B&B was nice enough, but I was isolated and felt very alone. Also, I'd have to go to town for other meals and transportation to San Jose was expensive, where at the retreat, I could share a ride and have 3 meals a day. Another issue is safety. At Che Tica, I was completely safe and could take nice walks on the beautiful grounds and play with their wonderful golden retrievers. Have a fire in the fireplace at night, use their free phone and computer and DVD's/books. At the B&B I was pretty much confined to my room. Also, all the retreat I have immediate access to the clinic in case I need something. No comparison.. ....stay at CheTica Ranch!

Mere words can not do justice to the people at CheTica Medical Recovery Ranch! You are greeted with a friendly hello and a hug at the moment you arrive and are welcomed with open arms! No request is too big or too small. The worst part is going home and realizing that you are not really royalty,, they just treat you that way at the ranch!! I will truly miss everyone and will think of you often. Thank you so much for everything and your attention to every single detail.
